More Free Ebooks!

Did you know that you can borrow thousands of ebooks and audiobooks for free from the Memphis Public Library? All you need is a library card! To check out, just select a book, click "check out," and enter your library card number and PIN. If you know your card number but not your PIN, click the "Lost PIN" option when you log in. If you've lost your card and don't know your account number, you will have to stop by the library or call them at (901) 415-2702.

You can also download the free Libby app to read your ebooks on any mobile device.

Don't have a library card? Now you can apply online! This gives you a temporary account number for 30 days. You will need to stop by the local library branch with an adult to get a permanent card and number. Your adult will need to show any two of the following proofs of address:

• Voter registration card

• current utility bill

• printed check

• check stub

• lease, etc.
