My name is Ms. Alley and I am your Library Information Specialist. East was my first school as a classroom teacher back in 1996, and I always hoped that I would be able to come back and get my hands on this beautiful library! I taught English in grades 7-12 for fifteen years before moving to the library, and this is my sixth year as a Library Information Specialist. I am thrilled to have the opportunity not only to share my love of books and reading with the students here, but to have a hand in updating and transforming the library to meet the changing needs of our school community. I am a proud lifelong Memphian and a graduate of Kirby High School. I hold a B.A. in English from Rhodes College and a M.S. in Instruction and Curriculum Leadership from the University of Memphis.
